ABOUT
From deep in the heart of Texas, Nelson Tumlinson has roots that go all the way back to the, "Old 300". Nelson creates photorealistic animal pastel drawings or paintings, and acrylic paintings. He has been drawing since he was young and took multiple art classes while attending college. He has been featured in Texas Hill Country magazine online and has won multiple art awards including second place paintings on paper at the Hill Country Arts Foundation and first place and the People's Choice Award at the Kerrville Arts and Cultural Center. Art is Nelson's passion and gift. His love of the outdoors and the Texas Hill Country is the inspiration of many of his works.
